Private Cloud Automation Engineerneeded for a contract opportunity with SOC's client to work onsite in Mechanicsburg, PA.

Contract Length: 12+ Months, possible conversion to FTE

Must have an active Top Secret Clearance to be considered for this role.

Job Description:
The Private Cloud Automation Engineer will be responsible for the definition, planning, and execution of building automation to enable usage of a private cloud environment in classified data center environments. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of experience with industry-standard virtualization tools for computer, networking, and storage. The candidate must have a good understanding of public cloud concepts, including what end users expect from a self-service provisioning platform.

Required Skills:

  • Strong background in modern datacenter technologies.
  • Customer-focused engineering mindset.
  • Experience with at least one public cloud provider preferred.
  • Scripting experience with Python.
  • Experience consuming REST APIs and other WebService endpoints.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
  • Top Secret clearances required.
  • On-site 50% and 50% travel required - travel expenses covered by HPE outside of the PA/UT site.
  • Design and develop the end-to-end flow for creating new tenants and users across multiple products using existing APIs.
  • Create blueprints to deploy private cloud services through Morpheus.
  • Working with different teams to understand manual workflows and then converting them to automation targets.
Estimated Min Rate: $49.00
Estimated Max Rate: $70.00
