Job Summary
B&A is looking for an IT Manager to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission. The IT Manager will oversee all aspects of B&A's information technology infrastructure, ensuring systems, networks, and applications operate efficiently and securely. This position will manage projects and align IT strategies with business goals. Responsibilities include strategic planning, team leadership, project management, and ensuring data security. This position will provide technical support to employees and project teams to ensure that all systems are running smoothly.

Job Summary
B&A is looking for an IT Manager to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission. The IT Manager will oversee all aspects of B&A's information technology infrastructure, ensuring systems, networks, and applications operate efficiently and securely. This position will manage projects and align IT strategies with business goals. Responsibilities include strategic planning, team leadership, project management, and ensuring data security. This position will provide technical support to employees and project teams to ensure that all systems are running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Identify technology needs, develop IT strategies aligned with business objectives, and ensure efficient implementation of technology solutions.?
- Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
- Ensure smooth operation of IT systems, including troubleshooting issues, maintaining network infrastructure, and providing technical support.?
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
- Implement and monitor security measures to protect the organization's IT systems and data, including establishing security policies and procedures.?
- Manage IT new hire onboarding process including laptop imaging, request set up of new users' accounts and profiles.
- Manage IT employee separation process including coordination of hardware return.
- Maintain inventory of all hardware and software and audit on required frequency.
- Act as internal support to IT MSP for IT issues.
Education and Experience
- Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in internal IT support roles.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science information technology, or a related field.
- ITIL, CompTIA Security+, or PMP credentials are desired.
- Cybersecurity expertise preferred with knowledge of disaster recovery planning and security best practices.
- Proficiency in platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, including understanding architecture, service models, and security.
- Expertise in various technologies related to systems, networks, software, hardware, and emerging technologies
Required Skills:
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with Microsoft Windows and Office in an IT support capacity.
- Ability to lift and move computer equipment
- Highly organized, able to wear multiple hats, and accomplish a multitude of tasks in fast-moving environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service focus.
- Ability to maintain/manage confidential information.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to professionally interact with managers, staff, and officers at all levels of the organization with diplomacy and professionalism.
