This is a proposal-based position; employment is contingent upon contract award and funding availability.

Introduction:
We are seeking an IT Project Manager to manage and guide complex information technology (IT) projects from inception through delivery. This role serves as a critical bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that project goals align with organizational strategy and are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
This is a proposal-based position; employment is contingent upon contract award and funding availability.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Plan, initiate, and manage complex IT projects across various domains.
- Lead and coordinate the work of multidisciplinary technical teams to ensure successful execution.
- Serve as the primary liaison between business units and technical staff, translating business needs into technical requirements.
- Develop and manage project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Assess business implications and risks for each project stage, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Monitor project progress, manage changes, and ensure adherence to deadlines, quality standards, and budget constraints.
- Prepare and deliver status reports to stakeholders, providing visibility into risks, issues, and performance metrics.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement project management best practices.
Location & Clearance Requirement:
- Active Top Secret clearance is required to be considered for this position. You must be eligible for SCI access and a CI Polygraph.
- This position will be onsite 100% in the Washington, DC area.
Required Qualifications:
- Eight (8)+ years of experience in IT project management or related technical leadership roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field is required. In lieu of a degree, will consider 4 years of additional employment.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional technical teams on medium to large-scale IT initiatives.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience using project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence, or similar.
- Active Top Secret clearance is required to be considered for this position. You must be eligible for SCI access and a CI Polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications (optional):
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
- Experience working within government, defense, or highly regulated environments.
- Familiarity with enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud computing, or software development life cycles.
