Responsibilities of the Structural Designer include:
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, project managers, vendors, and clients to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure all work complies with the Project Quality Plan and established procedures.
- Deliver design tasks in alignment with the approved project scope, budget, and schedule.
- Perform bulk material take-offs and generate detailed tabulations.
- Provide technical input for equipment and material procurement, including the review of vendor documentation.
- Support construction administration activities by responding to RFIs and addressing field modifications.
Qualifications for the Structural Designer include:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural design for large-scale industrial plants or capital expenditure (CapEx) facilities.
- Proven experience in the design-build delivery of CapEx projects.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as RISA 3D, STAAD, STAAD Pro, or equivalent CAD tools.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
Compensation for the Structural Designer includes:
- Salary Range: $115,000 - $130,000 depending on experience
- Comprehensive Benefits: Cigna Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave if required by law, and Holidays
