Max Payrate - $39/hr to 47/hr on W2
Active Secret Clearance - Must
Onsite Job: Military Aircraft Maintenance Technician Level C
Work Location: Cheyenne, Wyoming
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Shifts: 1st shift to start - 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (Rotation Later)
Must be able to work all shifts 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
Travel: 10%-25% travel possible
High School diploma/GED - Must
Skill Matrix:
• Military aircraft maintenance experience:
• Mechanical systems (Avionics, Structures):
• Troubleshooting (Pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems):
• Assembly/Disassembly/Modification of aircraft systems:
• Tool knowledge (Torque wrenches, Dial indicators, Micrometers, Sheet metal brakes/shears):
• A&P License (Preferred, not mandatory):
• Rotorcraft or MH-139 platform (Preferred):
Job Description:
• Client is seeking experienced MH-139 Operations Technicians (Structures/Avionics/Mechanic/Weapons) willing to work multiple shifts on the MH-139 program at FE Warren AFB in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Position Responsibilities:
• Mechanic, Avionics & Structures positions available.
• Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
• Oversees assembly, disassembly or overhaul.
• Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
• Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
• Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components.
• Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results).
• Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements.
• Works under general direction.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• Minimum of 3 years' experience with Military aircraft maintenance.
• Must have thorough knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet metal brakes and sheers.
• Must be willing to work variable shifts.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
• Experience with MH-139 maintenance and/or modifications.
• Experience with rotorcraft maintenance.
• Hold or held an Airframe and Power plant (A&P) License.
• General Mechanic experiences desirable.
Typical Education/ Experience:
• Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).
