Air Force by providing processes and tools to enable the enterprise division and its customers to acquire, develop, manage, transform, inspect, store, distribute, and maintain technical data. Recognized as the authority in technical data management, the program sustains two Air Force Enterprise systems.
About The Role
Peraton is currently seeking a Windows Systems Administrator for its' Product Data Systems Support program at Robins AFB.
Location: Robins AFB, GA. Full-time, on-site required.
In this role, you will:
Ensure the reliable, secure, and efficient operation of the Windows server infrastructure and the business-critical applications it supports. This role is responsible for both day-to-day operations and strategic infrastructure improvements.

Target Salary Range: $80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

About The Role
Peraton is currently seeking a Windows Systems Administrator for its' Product Data Systems Support program at Robins AFB.
Location: Robins AFB, GA. Full-time, on-site required.
In this role, you will:
Ensure the reliable, secure, and efficient operation of the Windows server infrastructure and the business-critical applications it supports. This role is responsible for both day-to-day operations and strategic infrastructure improvements.

- Proficiency with VMware ESX and Windows Server operating systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Effective collaboration and communication within technical teams.
- A continuous improvement mindset and self-initiative.
- The ability to support infrastructure modernization and maintain documentation.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Perform daily monitoring and maintenance to ensure system availability, performance, and integrity.
- Respond to incidents and alerts; investigate root causes and implement long-term resolutions.
- Support system patching, upgrades, and adherence to change management procedures.
- Implement infrastructure changes based on security, performance, or capacity needs.
- Contribute to documentation, including procedures, diagrams, and system configurations.
- Participate in the design, build, and validation of new infrastructure or application environments.
- Analyze technical requirements and recommend solutions aligned with policy and standards.
- Assist with server hardening and compliance activities to meet DoD cybersecurity requirements.
- Manage user access, file system permissions, and Active Directory operations.
- Support disaster recovery and Continuity of Operations (COOP) planning and testing.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years in lieu of a degree.
- Hands-on experience with VMware ESX and Windows Server platforms including vCenter, ESXi patching, and snapshots.
- Practical experience with Windows Server platforms including server builds, patching, and configuration management.
- Proven troubleshooting skills for Windows OS and application level issues.
- Solid understanding of networking and storage fundamentals.
- Familiarity with DISA STIGs and DoD compliance requirements for system hardening.
- Working knowledge of disaster recovery processes.
- Active CompTIA Security+ certification.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
- Eligibility to obtain access to Robins AFB.
- Ability to obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting enterprise applications such as IIS, Tomcat, or JBOSS.
- Competence managing group policies, file shares, and Active Directory access control.
- Experience with Netbackup tools and COOP site design and management.
- Familiarity with scripting or automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Ansible) is a plus.
