Director of Operations

Job Summary

The Director of Operations will lead and optimize the day-to-day business functions of X-Technologies, ensuring operational excellence across departments, including Engineering, Manufacturing, IT, Repair, and Contract Services. This role is pivotal in scaling the company's infrastructure, aligning cross-functional teams, and driving strategic growth initiatives

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with company goals
• Collaborate with executive leadership to shape long-term business plans
• Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement

Operational Oversight

• Manage daily operations across departments to ensure efficiency and quality
• Oversee customer relationships, procurement, and logistics
• Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions when needed

Team Management

• Lead and collaborate with department heads and operational staff
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Support hiring, onboarding, and professional development initiatives

Financial & Compliance

• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost-control measures
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Conduct regular audits and risk assessments

Technology & Systems

• Evaluate and implement tools to streamline workflows and data reporting
• Oversee IT infrastructure and cybersecurity protocols
• Support product lifecycle operations and technical support systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or
• related field (MBA preferred)
• 7+ years of experience in operations leadership, preferably in tech or manufacturing
• Proven success in scaling operations and managing cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Epicor), Lean/Six Sigma methodologies, and Texas business regulations
