Description:Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Manufacturing Support Team Member to join our Production Operations team supporting Assembly, Test, and Operations in Courtland, AL! The successful candidate will be required to travel to the Huntsville, AL site about 2-3 times per week.
Summary of key duties for this position include, but are not limited to:
• Support assembly, subsystem test, environmental test, pack & ship operations, and off-site processing.
• Collaborate with engineers and other personnel to identify, define, and solve problems.
• Create and work in a team environment while supporting Continuous Process Improvement.
• Be able to give/take work direction to/from team members.
• Provide General Manufacturing Support to Production, Engineering, and quality.
• Become efficient with SIMIO and eWhiteboard
• Assist with floor layout evaluations
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Understanding of lean manufacturing
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Desired Skills:
• Experience in High Rate Production Manufacturing
• Experience with Operating Heavy Machinery
• CDL License
• Experience Operating Mobile or Overhead Cranes
• Strong Verbal and Written Skills
• Strong Problem Solving Skills
• Excellent Interpersonal Skills
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
