Lockheed Martin Orlando Operations is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Associate Manager to join our Sensors Integration & Test Center / Manufacturing Engineering Team. Our team is responsible for creating and improving manufacturing strategies for complex sensor assemblies, and we play a crucial role in developing and implementing solutions for technical and organizational challenges.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Manufacturing Engineering Associate Manager, you will lead and develop a team of early career engineers to achieve production goals. You will leverage your technical skills, including experience with manufacturing processes and quality control, to identify and mitigate risks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
• Lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers to support the objectives of the Sensors Integration & Test Center
• Deliver verbal and written project status of milestones and progress
• Communicate project risks, solutions, and schedule impacts to stakeholders
• Prioritize tasks to ensure the team is progressing in the right direction
• Represent the team in programmatic reviews and status meetings
• Assist in the development of proposals
• Coordinate shop floor support as necessary to resolve technical and manufacturing issues.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or STEM Related Discipline
• Strong communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
• Experience working within cross-functional groups, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with various teams and stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative to solve complex problems in both proactive and reactive scenarios, with the ability to analyze data, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions
• Working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools, with the ability to apply these tools in a practical setting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, as well as other software tools such as project management software, CAD systems, or data analysis tools
• Willingness to work up to 10% Overtime Annually.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Level Security Clearance.
Desired Skills:
• Informal or formal leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, with experience leading cross-functional teams or in a supervisory role
• Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership competencies
• Familiarity with ISO9000 and AS9100 industry standards, as well as common military specifications, with the ability to interpret and apply these standards and specifications in a practical setting
• SAP and APRISO MES Experience
• Proficiency in Windchill PLM
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification
• Knowledge of Digital Transformation and Automation Processes in a Manufacturing Assembly Environment
• Knowledge of Statistical Quality Control Concepts (DOE, Process Repeatability, RCCA, etc.)

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
