General Atomics Integrated Intelligence, Inc. (GA-i3) develops and deploys advanced situational awareness solutions-including Thresher and Dragonspell-for the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, and commercial clients. Our systems process petabytes of real-time streaming data using cutting-edge algorithms and machine learning to deliver a live, multi-domain view of global activity.

We're seeking a Product Owner to bridge strategy and execution, aligning technical teams with mission goals to ensure every release delivers impact. As part of GA-i3's core platform team, you'll help shape our extensible, UI-rich platform used across the company. You'll guide downstream teams on customization, and collaborate with stakeholders, engineers, and product managers to continuously improve and optimize the platform for mission-critical software delivery.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Translate product strategy and roadmap into clear, actionable user stories with measurable outcomes.
  • Own and manage the product backlog and schedule, ensuring priorities align with business goals and delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate with customers, users, SMEs, and stakeholders to gather, refine, and document requirements, decision logic, and value propositions.
  • Act as the day-to-day champion of the product vision, ensuring the team is empowered and informed to make aligned decisions.
  • Proactively identify and address risks, dependencies, and blockers to maintain delivery momentum.
  • Lead agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and sprint reviews to drive continuous improvement.

Job Qualifications:
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related discipline and thirteen or more years of progressively complex experience in the project administration field with at least seven of those years in project management. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
  • Proven ability to translate high-level concepts and ambiguous requirements into a clear, actionable, and prioritized product backlog aligned with strategic goals.
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and best practices in iterative software development.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across departments and with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experienced in representing technical teams to external partners and providing mentorship to less experienced colleagues.
  • Skilled in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation, including detailed software requirements for complex systems.
  • Demonstrated creative thinking, analytical reasoning, and effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Proficiency with Jira and Confluence
  • Experience with frontend software development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, etc.)
  • Experience with UI/UX design processes
  • Familiarity with geospatial, AI/ML, or data fusion technologies
