Job Description
The Program Manager (PM) is responsible for the overall management and execution of the ITSS contract in support of the AVCOE G-6 mission. The PM provides leadership, direction, and oversight for all contract activities, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, performance standards, and government regulations. The PM serves as the primary point of contact for the Contracting Officer (KO) and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), and is responsible for resolving issues, coordinating efforts, and ensuring timely delivery of services.

Job Description

The PM provides leadership, direction, and oversight for all contract activities, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, performance standards, and government regulations. The PM serves as the primary point of contact for the Contracting Officer (KO) and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), and is responsible for resolving issues, coordinating efforts, and ensuring timely delivery of services.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Provide program management and administrative support to ensure contract requirements are met
- Communicate project needs and coordinate project efforts
- Implement process improvements through the Quality Control Plan
- Resolve scheduling and personnel issues
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, IT operations, and project management standards
- Attend post-award and periodic progress meetings
- Maintain full authority over daily contract operations
Job Requirements:
Education & Experience
- Minimum of 12 years managing IT operations for the DoD
- Minimum of 7 years managing Government contracts
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or similar IT field preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentations to senior government officials
Certifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Security Clearance
- SECRET
