GENERAL DUTIES:

CLEARANCE:
- Develop and recommend courses of action (COAs) for COP-related policies, procedures, and doctrine to SOCNORTH leadership.
- Proactively monitor and report COP system performance, ensuring that all hardware and software are operational and up to date across the JOC.
- Conduct quarterly reviews of JOC planning and tasking processes and provide recommendations for improved efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure functionality and readiness of COP and battle tracking systems for events such as conferences, seminars, and training sessions.
- Deliver monthly familiarization training (up to 5 hours per session) for up to 15 personnel on SOCNORTH COP systems and collaboration tools.
- Maintain System Administrator privileges and provide Tier 1/2 troubleshooting for COP tools, SOCNORTH portal pages, and collaboration platforms.
- Provide connectivity support and integration assistance to external organizations (e.g., USNORTHCOM, USSOCOM, DoD, and non-DoD agencies) engaging with SOCNORTH's COP environment.
- Assist deployed personnel in maintaining secure access to COP systems, in coordination with the J6.
- Maintain awareness of emerging tracking technologies (government and COTS) relevant to force protection and personnel recovery operations.
- Support up to four exercises and contingency operations annually (each ~4 days), including potential shift work and extended hours as needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience within Special Operations units or Special Operations staffs conducting military operational planning in support of real-world operations, exercises, and investments.
