Evolver Federal is seeking a Data Analyst to support its Federal client in Springfield, VA in satisfying FISMA and OMB reporting requirements. The Data Analyst will lead data gathering efforts across a diverse stakeholder group, compile the data, conduct data analysis across all data collected, develop dashboards and data visualizations to show compliance trends and identify data anomalies.
The successful candidate will possess a background in data analytics and cybersecurity with knowledge of FISMA Scorecard requirements and FISMA metrics. The candidate must have previous experience compiling data, building reports, developing dashboards and other data visualizations, performing data analysis and communicating outcomes of data analysis to stakeholders at varying levels across the organization.

Responsibilities:
- Extract and integrate data from various data sources to support the creation of dashboards and visualizations that track FISMA metrics and cybersecurity performance indicators.
- Perform data analysis, build reports, develop dashboards.
- Lead data gathering efforts across a large and diverse stakeholder group in response to data calls.
- Build and develop presentations and develop and conduct training on FISMA metric collection requirements.
- Create draft and final FISMA scorecards and reports (monthly, quarterly, annual).
- Track changes, artifacts, and justifications for delivery to Federal Leads, HQ Leadership, Deputy CISO, OMB, and Congress.
- Revise reporting formats and data extracts as needed.
- Prepare/ document instructions to support data calls relating to FISMA requirements and distribute to stakeholders.
- Extract and consolidate data from independent submissions; analyze discrepancies in data and obtain justifications for discrepancies per OMB requirements.
- Generate quarterly and annual performance trend reports to support OMB requirements.
- Develop compliance dashboards using centralized security authorization data.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis on large datasets for cybersecurity insights .
- Provide responses for cybersecurity-related audits based on requests for information received.
- Coordinate with SMEs to gather, validate, and finalize cybersecurity reports.
- Prepare executive summaries, talking points, and slide decks for CISO/CIO briefings.
- Provide training on performance plans/ compliance requirements, scorecard/compliance metrics, and reporting processes.
- Lead and engage in collaborative discussions with SMEs and stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Government.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Basic Qualifications
- 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's Degree or a total of 8 years of experience in a relevant field.
- 1 year of experience as a Data Analyst.
- 1 year of experience with FISMA Metrics and Reporting requirements.
- 1 year of experience extracting data from multiple sources including but not limited to: Splunk, Elastic, Crystal Reports, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, SQL Server, Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE), Oracle Data Visualizer, and Oracle Visual Analyzer.
- 2 years of experience working to execute NIST 800-37, Risk Management Framework.
- A security -related certification such as Security +, CISA, Certified Authorization Professional (CAP), or Certified in Governance, Risk and Compliance (CGRC); and/or A certification relating to data analytics such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or Certified Analytics Professional (CAP).
- Other relevant certifications include: Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Tableau Desktop Specialist or Certified Associate, Splunk Core Certified Power User, Splunk Certified Data Analyst, Elastic Certified Engineer, Elastic Certified Analyst
- Must have an Active DOD Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst.
- 2 years of experience with FISMA Metrics and Reporting requirements.
- Ability to work independently to build dashboards and reports using related tools.
- Requires strong communication skills and ability to build presentations and conduct training on FISMA metric collection requirements.
- Knowledge of FISMA Metrics, including methods for measuring and reporting.
- Familiarity with the requirements of and tools used to support CDM (Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation) in the federal government.
- Ability to schedule and lead meetings with a diverse group of government and contractor stakeholders at various levels within the organization, including developing and maintaining agendas, meeting notes, and meeting records, including maintaining a repository of all meeting records.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively via written and verbal communication in both formal and informal situations, including but limited to presenting outcomes of data analysis to a diverse stakeholder group.
- Ability to adapt to frequent changes in priorities, follow project schedules, meet established deadlines, and proactively communicate risks and issues to the Contractor PM and/or Federal Leads.
- Possess good listening skills and the ability to detect explicit and implicit needs and wants of the client.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment, prioritize multiple tasks, and problem solve under pressure of deadlines and resource constraints.
- Possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to apply them to the client/ contract workspace.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Must have previous client-engagement experience.
- DHS HQ or Component- level experience preferred .
