Contract Position

Pay Estimated: $67.73-$70.73/Hour

Risk Manager job in Scottsdale, Arizona is available with Moseley Technical Services Top Aerospace / Defense company. In this job you will join our Space Force Mobile User Objective System team and be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risks associated with the program to ensure successful project execution and delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management plan
• Identify and assess potential risks that could impact project scope, schedule, cost, and quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop opportunities, risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans
• Monitor and report on risk status and progress to senior management and stakeholders
• Conduct regular risk assessments and reviews, updating risk registers and documentation as needed
• Provide guidance and training to team members on risk management best practices and tools
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Facilitate risk workshops and meetings to promote a proactive risk & opportunity management culture within the program
• This position is 3 days on site with 2 days working from home or 100% on site

Qualifications:

• U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain Department of Defense SECRET security clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field
• 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 3+ years of job-related experience
• Strong background in risk management, project management, and communication
• Experience with government contracts and defense industry standards
• PMP, RMP, or other relevant certifications are a plus
• Experience with ROMPro is a plus
• Agile experience preferred
• Strong ability to lead, mentor, and motivate experienced technical staff
