NTT DATA Federal Services, Inc. currently seeks a Site Project Manager to join our Base Infrastructure Modernization (BIM) team to assist in transitioning existing Department of the Air Force Base Area Networks to an as-a-Service model while modernizing base networks. Personnel will travel to bases in the Pacific region (Japan and/or Korea) to provide technical services for the base network infrastructure which will provide continued interoperability with joint network systems, increased access to critical data for high-bandwidth use cases, and support for connections to mission-unique applications, tools and systems. Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen to be considered for this opportunity.

Job Summary:

- Provides direct supervision to a large team of operational, production, sales, service or administrative team members, or a small staff of professional level team members.
- Sets and communicates clear expectations for work under limited direction serve as primary point of contact at installation site(s).
- Responsibilities include but are not limited to: site survey and installation logistical coordination with CACI, subcontractor, and customer team.
- Coordinates equipment staging, integration, cutover, and testing of the site installation(s) activities per the Performance Work Statement (PWS), Statement of Requirement (SOR), Site Preparation Requirements and Installation Plan (SPRIP) and contract.
- Requires permanent relocation to the Asia Pacific Region.
- Leads the on-site coordination efforts with the Government IPT leader (IPTL) for the kick-off meeting with subcontractor(s) and Government POCs.
- Ensures adequate safety measures are always taken to protect people and property in compliance with OSHA, local government, and installation regulations.
- Oversees and manages the Quality and Safety directives identified below and ensure that contract specifications and quality are met whether explicitly or implicitly implied.

Inside/Outside Plant Performance Requirements:

- Data Design Guidance, Site Specific/Unique Requirements, Electronic Industries Association (EIA)/ Telecommunications Industries Association (TIA) , Commercial Building Wiring Standard, EIA/TIA 568-A, August 1995. Rural Utilities Services (RUS) Telecommunications Standards for Outside Plant 1751F-643.
- Responsible for coordinating and planning the scheduling and overall supervision of the on-site implementation of major networking and data center design.
- Verify site/building/room specific “Bill of Materials” including labor units for each project.
- Manage the post site survey verifications process, document, and report all site changes/modifications that impact the installation design.
- Evaluate project designs for accuracy, utilizing detailed material lists, design drawings, and project
- Statement of Work documents for subcontracted work or for bid requests.
- Monitor progress and quality/workmanship of the installation/implementation teams and report problems/progress/status to the Program Manager.
- Collaborate with the installation end user points of contact to include notification of work schedules that would affect their areas.
- Provide personal verification, documentation, and reporting for ALL work descriptors installed on a set progress reporting schedule to the Program Manager.
- Provide projections for all work descriptors to be installed monthly and quarterly to the Program Manager.
- Provide actual start and finish dates for all summary tasks in the schedule to Master Scheduler weekly.
- Ensure schedules are met or completed prior to due dates including any schedule delays.
- Review and disposition out-of-scope requests from the customer. Resolve all change requests to include negotiation, design, quote, installation, and acceptance.
- Attend meetings held on installation/implementation progress for the site base personnel.
- Maintain an up-to-date, redline copy of all changes made to the original project design drawings
- Responsible for testing, documentation, and reporting of all Fiber Optical and copper cabling.
- Oversee the unpacking, inventory, and safe storage of delivered equipment.
- Coordinate move and cutover activities with base personnel.
- Ensure that cables moved during cutover are routed/dressed/labeled, as required.
- Consistent and reliable attendance required.
- Ensure that all work sites and work areas (trailers, yards, etc.) are kept orderly, clean, and safe.
- Travel to other locations or Customer Sites as necessary
- Understand and adhere to all NTT Data Ethical and Compliance policies
- Proactively ensure a safe work environment and adhere to CACI EH&S policies and procedures
- Leads a team that is typically responsible for managing a medium-sized portfolio in which the projects are primarily simple and standard projects but could also include a lower percentage of complex projects.
- Influences individuals regarding issue resolution, problem solving or championing the project management value proposition.
- Ensures that effective project controls are in place to monitor project performance.
- Provides effective performance reporting for the client and NTT DATA.
- Develops and implements complex project plans, specifications and schedules.
- Provides oversight and leads project teams and project leaders.
- Performs basic Business Process Improvement (BPI) analysis.
- Structures, designs, and drives projects.
- Participates in segment and cross-functional projects.
- Facilitates fulfillment of clients’ requirements.
- Maps out processes and uses basic BPI analyses to determine areas for improvement.

Basic Qualifications:

- Technical BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Equivalency: High School diploma or associate's degree
- 10 years' experience as a Manager in DoD or commercial environment supporting large, complex networks.
- 7 years of experience performing as a Manager in DoD or commercial environment supporting large, complex networks.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret Clearance.
- Ability to travel to Japan or Korea.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Proficient with MS Project and other software applications as required.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience managing telecommunications and/or datacenter projects.
- 30-hour OSHA Construction safety class
