Summary:
In the role of a Systems Engineer, you will support our customer in designing, implementing, and maintaining a robust PrinterLogic infrastructure. This infrastructure will ensure seamless print services across the Department of the Air Force, supporting over 600,000 Airman, Guardians, and civilian staff across more than 100 geographically distributed locations worldwide. The role entails close collaboration with IT staff, end-users, and vendors to troubleshoot issues, implement innovative solutions, enhance the printing infrastructure, and deliver a consistent, high-quality user experience.
Job Duties:
- Design and implement PrinterLogic solutions tailored to the organization's needs.
- Design with a holistic view of the enterprise to ensure cost, performance, networking, and security are considered.
- Develop and maintain scripts to automate routine tasks and improve system efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for automation within the PrinterLogic environment to streamline processes.
- Troubleshooting performance issues across the organization.
- Work closely with other IT teams to integrate PrinterLogic with existing systems and infrastructure.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Coordinate with vendors, partners, and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Monitor PrinterLogic systems for performance and reliability.
- Generate reports and provide insights on system performance, usage patterns, and areas for improvement.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be a US Citizen with a current Secret Security Clearance.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent years of related experience
- 10 years of experience with systems administration in Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field may be substituted for 5 years of relevant experience.
- 7 years of experience implementing and managing PrinterLogic infrastructure to include diagnosing and resolving driver and printer issues on Windows workstations
- 1 year of experience with Department of Defense (DoD) environments and requirements.
- 2 years of experience with enterprise IT environments, including networks, servers, and security protocols.
- Hold an approved DoD Directive 8140 (DoDD 8140) technical certification at IAT Level II or III and stay up to date with the latest advancements and requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience with ServiceNow, DevOps, Azure Boards, Azure Pipelines and Azure Repos
- 2 years of experience creating and analyzing PowerShell, Ansible, Bash, JAVA based, YAML and/or Python scripts.
- Possess relevant Technical and/or Security Certifications (e.g., Network +, Security+, Microsoft, AWS, VMware, CISSP, CCNA, CCDA, CCNA-Security, etc.)
- 2 years of experience recent (within the past 3 years) with Azure Cloud Computing.
- Experience supporting any or all these products or technologies: Red Hat Satellite, Nagios, ForeScout, CyberArk, Layer7 PAM, SailPoint, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Splunk, AMQP (RabbitMQ), Nessus suit, Swimlane, Qualys, SCCM/MECM, BigFix, MDM solutions, JIRA
Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is [$87,952 - $203,594]. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance. This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short and long term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.
