Peerless Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Test Manager to support the F-22 Program Office located at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The F-22 Program Office is fast-paced environment supporting a broad array of Divisions and Branches supporting the F-22 Raptor Fleet. You will interface with various government and military stakeholders, including the Weapon System Prime Contractor, and provide program management support for F-22 Test and Engineering Branch activities in support for the F-22 Program Office mission.
The successful candidate will support the F-22 Program by providing the following skills/activities in support of F-22 Test and Engineering Branch operations; you will/shall:
• The Candidate shall utilize Test Driven Development (TDD) along with Continuous Improvement/Continuous Development (CI/CD) software pipeline development. The Candidate shall be able to apply modern commercial Agile practices for software development and testing. The Candidate shall obtain and manage current commercial-off-the-shelf software development tools and data analytical tools.
• The Candidate shall have applicable knowledge of automated software testing experience at the subsystem, and hardware-in-the-loop integration levels. The Candidate shall have knowledge of creating and managing automated test scripts.
• Demonstrate an understanding of the components/relationships of Prime OEM Contractor, Developmental Test (DT), Operational Test (OT), weapons, and live fire tests.
• Develop/document a T&E strategy that integrates policy, program requirements, cost and resource estimates, evaluation framework, and T&E schedule to accomplish program goals. The Candidate shall translate requirements to support Test and Evaluation (T&E) planning efforts. The Candidate shall assist in writing/translating test documents, such as Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP), DT plans, and OT plans.
• Apply software test experience in support of on-going efforts to make software testing more efficient to include new processes, layouts, and future labs. Furthermore, the Candidate shall have working knowledge of hardware emulations. Candidate will advise Government PMs on potential improvements and impediments. Furthermore, the Candidate shall have maintain insight/understanding of planning, management, and oversight of software test activities in the F-22 labs.
• Advise Government PMs on test issues and help Government PMs make technically informed, objective judgments about Prime OEM Contractor/Subcontractor DT&E results. The Candidate shall advise on the standup of software testing infrastructure.
• Provide support for planning, coordination, and execution of the F-22 Integrated Test Team (ITT) and the Candidate shall obtain and provide status of T&E projects to senior leadership as required. The Candidate shall develop metrics to assess software development and testing progress.
• Provide assistance to the F-22 Division in surveillance of Prime OEM Contractor/Subcontractor performance and assist in determining program progress by providing feedback to the Government. The Candidate shall provide technical support, plan for, coordinate, and participate in integrated program reviews and conferences, including, but not limited to executive, readiness, technical, budget, design, weapon system, requirement working group, supportability, and management reviews.
REQUIREMENTS
• General Experience requirements:
- Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a related field and ten years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five years of which must be in the DoD
- OR, Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD
- OR, 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, eight of which must be in the DoD.
• Specific Experience requirements:
- Engineering Degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program (abet.org)
- Ten (10) years of software test experience and at least three years of Agile software development experience.
- Certification(s) from the American Software Testing Qualifications Board are highly desired.
- Aircraft platform Acquisition Program Office experience is highly preferred, but not required
• Clearance requirements:
- Secret Clearance, and able to obtain Special Access Program (SAP) or Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility if required.
