Lockheed Martin (LM) is looking for an ambitious Systems Engineer to become a member of the Systems Engineering and Integration Team (SEIT).
As a Systems Engineer, you will:
• Lead the following Survivability and Hardening and Vulnerability (H&V) efforts:
a) Coordinate analyses and tasking between Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and program Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
b) Support technical task teams and working groups with partner design agencies, subcontractors, and customer organizations
c) Develop model and analysis validation/maturation plans
Generate white papers and technical documentation capturing analyses process information, assumptions, and results
d) Support SME analysis efforts
Participate in and coordinate design review materials and technical product reviews
e) Manage configuration control and classification for data products
• Support requirements writing, model based systems engineering activities, and verification planning
• Participate in studies and system trades to support system development
To be considered Candidates ideally have at least a Bachelor's Degree and:
• Have 5+ years of professional experience
• Work On-Site in Littleton, CO or Valley Forge, PA; although Littleton, CO is preferred
• Have a Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience in Systems Engineering with knowledge of System Engineering Concepts and processes
• Experience with requirement identification, decomposition, allocation, and verification
• Demonstrated ability to work with multiple engineering fields to identify technical product characteristics to develop requirements specifications
• Ability to build strong relationships with program internal and external customers
• Writing requirements documentation and coordinating document release through approval process
• Experience with DOORS or similar tool for requirements management, decomposition and publication
• Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance; US Citizenship is required
Desired Skills:
• Experience developing requirements for space or missile systems
• Proficiency in DOORS
• Strong test process discipline experience
• Experience with human spaceflight requirements and industry standards
• Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very complex problems and implement constructive change
• Experience with Model Based Engineering Tools (e.g. Cameo)
• Experience writing White papers and technical documentation
• Experience participating/leading trade studies
• Active Top Secret Clearance.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
