Join us as a Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Flight Test Data Processing Engineer . Be a member of an Advanced Development Programs Flight Test team. You will be part of a fast-paced, dynamic environment exploring state of the art technical solutions. Tasked across the full flight test life cycle, providing support for all flight test activity from laboratory to ground test, to flight, you will customize training products to a flight test team of experts and first-time control room participants, assess prototype weapon systems operations, and assist in developing appropriate mitigating procedures.
Responsibilities include:
Some shift, extended hours, weekend work and travel may be required.

Basic Qualifications:

• Top Secret Clearance
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
• Successful history in organizing and preparing a team to include training and mentoring.

• Range experience
• Contributions on a flight test team.
• Master's degree in a technical discipline
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Responsibilities include:
- Be the liason between subject matter experts, flight test organization/lead, and chief engineers.
- Spearhead and schedule training simulation and mission rehearsal efforts. Coordinate with flight test engineers, data processing, Government personnel, ground system engineers, and mission planners to ensure training objectives are met.
- Track technical training required for operations.
- Coordinate engineering data packages pre- and post-mission; ensure required data are collected, observed, and recorded. Develop data review packages to brief internal and external customers.
- Support required travel - provide approvals, transportation arrangements, and lodging; facilitate building and network access.
