Job Description

As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol - Financial Site in Baltimore, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment within a financial institution setting. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the location, remaining highly visible to help deter unwanted activity, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. This is an armed and driving post, requiring you to carry a concealed weapon and operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. You will interact with employees, visitors, and clients, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, and/or concerns according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Operate and maintain assigned security equipment, including firearms, in accordance with Allied Universal and client policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Must have an active Armed Guard Card or License as required by state and/or local regulations.
• Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
