What You'll Do
As a Procurement Specialist, you will:
- Provide process improvement recommendations using domain expertise and data analysis
- Support modernization of IT category management and procurement strategies
- Implement comprehensive market analysis frameworks for sourcing and vendor selection
- Conduct supplier capability assessments and cost-benefit analyses
- Recommend IT spend optimization approaches that align with agency business needs
- Perform strategic sourcing, cost estimation, and alternative analysis
- Leverage data analytics and market research to track trends and identify opportunities
Schedule & Shift Details
- Full-time (40 hours/week)
- 100% on-site in O'Fallon, MO
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship required (no dual citizens)
- Active Secret Clearance required
- Associate's Degree required
- Must be within commuting distance of O'Fallon, MO
- Must be available for occasional travel
- Minimum of 7 years experience in Procurement Management
- Minimum of 7 years experience in Category Management Strategy
- Minimum of 3 years experience in:
- Market Analysis
- IT Cost Optimization
- IT Cost Transparency
- Completion of training in category management, strategic sourcing, and procurement
- Strong background in cost estimation, business analysis, and supplier evaluation
