Program Summary
KBR maintains and manages Army prepositioned stocks at the Army Field Support Battalion - Charleston (AFSBn-CHS) land site to include all logistics and maintenance operations. The KBR APS-3 Program is managed and executed at Goose Creek in support of the Army's power projection doctrine and resources. The contract provides maintenance of APS-3 stocks (Class II, IIIP, IV, VII, IX) to ensure that unit sets are configured and maintained at optimal readiness. KBR also provides maintenance services and logistical support for other Army programs, IAW individual scope of work contract requirements.
Job Summary
This position is responsible for the assignment of motor vehicles and compiles lists of available vehicles. The assignment of vehicles is determined by factors such as length and purpose of trip, freight or passenger requirements, and preference of user. Additional responsibilities include the issuance of keys, record sheets, and driver credentials. The Dispatcher records time of departure, destination, cargo, expected time of return and investigates overdue vehicles. The Dispatcher maintains the record of mileage, fuel used, repairs made, and other expenses. The Dispatcher may supervise and perform warehouse functions, oversee maintenance management, and ensure the accuracy of equipment records.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinating Vehicle Movements: Maintaining control of vehicle fleets and maintenance.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of vehicle use, trip documentation, vehicle status, and maintenance records.
- Communication: Acting as a crucial link between different KBR departments, relaying information about operations, emergencies, and personnel movements.
- Following Procedures: Adhering to strict military and federal guidelines regarding vehicle use and dispatch.
- Vehicle Logbooks: Verifying vehicle logbooks.
- Receiving and Filling Requests: Receiving and fulfilling requests for motor transportation from authorized personnel.
- Capable in basic office automation systems/hardware, MICROSOFT Office, SharePoint/Shared file systems, and Army Information Management Systems like GCSS-Army or SAP.
- Import data from spreadsheets or other formats, export data to various formats, key data directly and/or create standard and custom reports, compiles and records production data.
Basic Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC)
- Must obtain and maintain local base access.
- Must possess a valid State Driver's License.
- Must be capable of getting a Secret security clearance.
- 2-years' related experience in fields involving production, logistics, supply, or record keeping using automated systems.
- High School diploma, college completion viewed favorably.
- Working knowledge of GCSS-Army a plus.
- Working knowledge of Army unit structure i.e. MTOEs, authorizations, requirements, and equipment readiness.
- Working knowledge using lift equipment a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand and walk - between 2 to 4 hours per day.
- Must be able to Lift - up to 35 lbs. periodically.
- Must be able to squat, knell, bend, reach and climb periodically.
- Must be able to work outside and inside in non-climate-controlled environments.

- Problem-Solving: The ability to think quickly and solve problems is crucial for handling emergencies, unexpected changes, and vehicle issues.

- Knowledge of Emergency Procedures: Understanding and implementing emergency procedures is vital in crisis situations.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail is necessary to avoid errors that could negatively impact missions and personnel safety.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Access, SharePoint, PowerApps, Dataverse, PowerBI,Power Automate, and Excel.
