WhoYou Are:
Versar Global Solutions is seeking a talented Technical Project Manager II to support the DHS Homeland Security Enterprise Network (HSEN) , the Department’s Wide Area Network (WAN) that enables information sharing across DHS HQ and 22 DHS Components, to include shared internet, intranet, and extranet services. This position will be within the HSEN Network & Engineering team that provides Tier 3 network architecture support, planning and design, operations support, maintenance, and management of the LAN/WAN infrastructure, and selected candidate will provide technical project management support services, to include, but not limited to, scope and project planning, schedule development, communication, customer engagement, risk management, and project cost estimation.
This position will work directly with a talented team of network and security engineers, business analysts, and vendor groups to advance both tactical and strategic efforts, business analysts.
WhatYou’ll Do:
The Technical Project Manager will work to prioritize projects, coordinate all planning for projects/tasks to completion, perform requirements analysis, writing and assisting with required deliverables. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, leading, and coordinating HSEN's mission critical and highly visible IT network/infrastructure projects and tasks. This role entails performing business systems analysis, gathering and analyzing requirements, and validating solutions.
