MANTECH seeks a motivated and experienced Information Technology Operations Manager to join our team in Fairmont, WV.
You will oversee critical IT operations, ensure security compliance, and lead systems enhancement efforts.

You will oversee critical IT operations, ensure security compliance, and lead systems enhancement efforts.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- You will determine security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements, researching information security standards, conducting system security and vulnerability analyses, performing risk assessments, studying system architecture and platform, identifying integration issues, and preparing cost estimates.
- You will plan security systems by evaluating network and security technologies, developing requirements for local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), routers, firewalls, and related devices; you will also design public key infrastructures (PKIs), including certification authorities (CAs) and digital signatures as well as hardware and software, while adhering to industry standards.
- You will maintain the security plan by monitoring compliance with standards, policies, and procedures and by developing and conducting training programs.
- You will ensure information systems uphold security standards by monitoring the IT environment, identifying operational and security gaps, and evaluating and implementing enhancements.
- You will prepare system security reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 10+ or more years of experience related to IT Operations Management
- Must possess and maintain one or more of the following technical certifications:
- ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- ISC2 Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (ISSAP)
- ISC2 Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
- ISACA Certified Information System Manager (CISM)
- ISACA Certified Information System Auditor (CISA)
- GIAC Security Leadership Certification (GSLC)
- EC-Council Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO)
- Cisco Certified Architect (CCAr)
- Cisco Certified Design Expert (CCDE)
- Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Security
- Axelos ITIL Master
- Axelos ITIL Strategic Leader (SL)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience with Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Systems Administration
Clearance Requirements:
- Must have a current/active Top Secret security clearance.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
