Overall Assignment Description:
Senior MS&A Engineers lead and perform advanced modeling, simulation, and analytical efforts to support mission partners, analysts, and warfighters. They play a key role in defining system and data requirements to enable timely, accurate, and mission-aligned GEOINT for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA).

About The Role
Overall Assignment Description:
Senior MS&A Engineers lead and perform advanced modeling, simulation, and analytical efforts to support mission partners, analysts, and warfighters. They play a key role in defining system and data requirements to enable timely, accurate, and mission-aligned GEOINT for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and application of sophisticated models, tools, and algorithms to detect patterns and trends within large-scale data sets.
- Model NGA architectures, requirements, and system performance in alignment with NGA/NSG strategic goals and the future direction of GEOINT.
- Develop models and simulations to support analysis of alternatives, performance and design trade studies, and emerging capabilities; generate deployment options based on MS&A results within existing NSG architectures and cloud environments.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Mid- and Junior-level MS&A engineers.
- Support all tasks outlined in Section 3.5: Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A).

Skills and Experience:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, or related STEM degree program, or related equivalent additional experience of 4 years with no degree or 2 years with a non-STEM degree.
- 12+ years of experience working in government or industry modeling large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture environments residing in cloud, on premise, or hybrid
- Knowledge of tools development and use in cloud.
- Working experience with NGA/NRO joint integration activities.
- Working knowledge of NGA IPO infrastructure.
- Hands on programming and/or scientific computing experience with at least one of the following: Python, R, C++, or MATLAB.
- TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, or related STEM degree
- Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools and
- Machine learning
- Senior-level experience in Operations
- Experience performing MS&A on solutions using Cloud-based
- Experience performing MS&A on solutions using structured and unstructured Big
- Experience performing MS&A on solutions using Automation, Augmentation and Artificial Intelligence technologies.
