Description

Command Post Technologies, Inc. (CPT) is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer that will be responsible for supporting a robust system infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
  • Support updates to system architecture artifacts and technical manuals.
  • Support updates to Integrated Development Environment (IDE) and Event Execution System (EES) hardware drawings.
  • Support the design of projects IDE hardware and network infrastructure.
  • Support design and implementation plans for the project IDE.
  • Support procurement of hardware and software assets required to establish the client's IDE.
  • Support procurement of hardware and software licenses.
  • Support resolution of all open program problem reports (PPRs) associated with system architecture artifacts and hardware drawings.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science; engineering; mathematics, management of information systems; cybersecurity; or a related field of study and 10+ years of work-related experience.
  • Experience monitoring and managing a networked computer infrastructure.
  • Proven experience in the development/improvement of new and existing products, solutions, and processes.
  • Experience with system-level architectural design of software, hardware, and networked systems.
  • Experience developing and maintaining system and software installation documentation.
  • Experience working in government programs with controlled engineering baselines.
  • Intermediate level knowledge of cybersecurity, including common risks to IT systems and of enterprise IT concepts, architectures, and systems (compute, network, storage).
  • Knowledge of virtualization and containerization technologies.
  • Intermediate level knowledge of computer networking and IT Service Management best practices.
  • Familiarity with cyber range tools, including deployment automation, configuration automation, monitoring, and traffic generation.
  • Effective communication skills: ability to accurately convey project status, identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and to express technical ideas to senior decision makers.
  • U.S. citizenship and Secret clearance eligibility.
