We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development (BD) Manager to lead and expand our growth efforts across the DoD, Intelligence Community (IC), Federal, and Commercial sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of identifying and winning new business, developing key customer relationships, and navigating the federal procurement process. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep market insight and a strong network of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
· Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in the DoD, IC, Federal Civilian, and Commercial markets.
· Develop and execute BD strategies that align with the company’s strategic goals and growth objectives.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government customers, prime contractors, and industry partners.
· Monitor and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform capture strategies.
· Lead proposal efforts in collaboration with internal teams, including capture managers, proposal writers, and technical staff.
· Manage the opportunity pipeline using tools such as GovWin, SAM.gov, or other BD platforms.
· Represent the company at industry events, customer meetings, and conferences to promote brand visibility and expand networks.
· Track and report BD metrics and provide regular status updates to leadership.

Requirements:
· Minimum 5 years of business development experience in the DoD, IC, Federal, and Commercial sectors.
· Strong working knowledge of the federal acquisition lifecycle and contracting vehicles (e.g., GSA, IDIQs, GWACs).
· Demonstrated success in building and managing a qualified pipeline of opportunities through capture to award.
· Established relationships with key decision-makers, government stakeholders, and industry partners.
· Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
· Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently or within a team.
· Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Government, or a related field.
· U.S. Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience working with small to mid-size government contractors.
· Knowledge of proposal development processes (Shipley or similar).
· Active security clearance or eligibility is a plus.
· Experience with CRM and pipeline tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, GovWin).
