Program Summary

KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR's enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract's original prime contractor. Job Summary

The Deputy Task Order Manager (DTOM) will support the Task Order Manager (TOM) in managing and executing the EUCOM Task Order, with duties covering daily operations, cost control, scheduling, compliance, team coordination, and customer relations. The DTOM will ensure effective planning, execution, and oversight of contract activities, delivering quality results that align with contractual and technical standards. This role demands strong leadership, operational expertise, and seamless coordination across geographically spread teams.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Support the TOM in managing the overall execution of the EUCOM Task Order across cost, schedule, performance, and compliance metrics.
  • Lead and direct daily operational activities and task execution across multiple sites.
  • Oversee Task Order employees and subcontractors at multiple geographic locations, ensuring alignment with program goals.
  • Ensure technical, financial, and contractual compliance with all Task Order requirements.
  • Act as the TOM's representative in their absence, authorized to make decisions related to the daily operation of the Task Order.
  • Organize, plan, and coordinate the production of all contract activities, including configuration control and quality assurance of deliverables.
  • Recruit, assign, and supervise personnel to meet evolving operational demands.
  • Monitor project schedules and master plans, develop solutions to challenges, and ensure timely delivery of all objectives.
  • Govern processes and procedures to ensure compliance with contract provisions, including performance metrics and success criteria.
  • Perform liaison activities with client representatives, stakeholders, and senior management.
  • Support operational start-ups, transitions, and site closures as needed.
  • Manage and enforce adherence to quality assurance standards and reporting requirements.
  • Utilize KBR business systems and tools (e.g., Maximo, Costpoint/Deltek, SharePoint) for operational oversight and reporting.


Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
  • Must pass a U.S. Government background check and obtain a NACI. Therefore, you must be a U.S. Citizen or a Green Card holder who has lived in the United States for at least the last 3 years to qualify for this position.
  • Must possess an active Secret Clearance.
  • At least 5 years of progressive project or base life support management experience.
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities with the capacity to coordinate across various functional areas.
  • Proven experience managing cost, schedule, and performance on complex programs.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with customers, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.


Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
  • Previous experience in a task order management role supporting KBR or other performance-based contracts.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Program Management, or a related field.
  • Experience with KBR CONUS or OCONUS operations is highly preferred.
  • Proven success managing transition efforts, including site closures and operational setups.
  • Working knowledge of KBR systems, including Maximo, Costpoint/Deltek, and SharePoint.
  • Experience in analyzing budgets and reporting variances.
  • Strong understanding of program planning concepts such as basis of estimate, concept of operations, and execution strategy.
  • Ability to quickly travel within the EUCOM area of operations.
  • Demonstrated leadership and strong people management skills.
