Job Description:
L3Harris Technologies has an opening for Astrodynamics Engineer for an important National Security Program.
The successful candidate will support a high performing team of Government and Contractor professionals to monitor, analyze, assess, and deliver - mission status, courses of action, anomaly investigation, and decision support information to senior decision makers in support of the Space Warfighting Mission. The candidate will be pivotal in supporting the implementation of national policies and generation of technical assessments to support policy decisions. The successful candidate will have experience with space operations, COA and TTP execution, and the Space Warfighting mission. The successful candidate will also have demonstrated the ability to operate in a dynamic and high energy environment with constantly changing tasking and priorities. This position will be supporting the Space Superiority Business Division of the Space Superiority within the Space and Airborne Systems Segment.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California is $104,500 - $193,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. Qualifications:
- Requires practical knowledge of job area. Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
- Active Top Secret clearance with CI Poly required
- 2+ years of experience with operational NRO, DoD tradecraft, workflows, and policies and procedures
- 2+ years of xperience with Reserve and multi-SAP/CAP programs
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Current / Previous NRO background / experience
- Identify internal and external multi-domain interoperability opportunities that benefit and improve space activities in both the NRO and DoD
- Conduct technical space working groups, reviews, and provide recommendations to improve space system integration, performance, and reliability
- Engage with various NRO and DoD space Directorates, gaining insights into their missions, functions, and organization to understand how customers utilize NRO solutions, thereby enhancing military services and stakeholder engagement within the NRO
- Proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate potential risks to maintain the resiliency of NRO, DoD programs and meet both technical and programmatic goals
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite programs, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
