Description:This exciting position is with our historic Skunk Works program. Skunk Works is an integral part of Lockheed's Aeronautics business area responsible for advanced systems development including conceptual design and rapid prototyping of clean sheet solutions and improvements and derivatives to existing systems. The ideal skunk is an agile, multi-faceted teammate who loves to solve our customer's most difficult challenges. Some of our unclassified projects include the U-2, SR-71 Blackbird, F-22 Raptor, F-117 Nighthawk, and the F-35 Lightening II.

Production Co-Pilot Senior Staff - UAV SME - Level 5
Selected applicant will join a unique "Skunkworks" Advanced Development Program (ADP) team, and become qualified as an instructor pilot (IP) and subject matter expert(SME) on Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA).
Duties will include instructing academics, simulators, and student flight training events.
IPs will also conduct Operational Test and Evaluation of program assets and systems.
Applicants must possess extensive pilot skills and experience in all classes of FAA airspace including restricted areas and MOA's. World-wide, day/night, and instrument military operational experience is highly desired.
Selected applicant will maintain currency in an RPA and manned companion trainer aircraft.
Selected applicant will support overseas deployments and must be willing to train for, travel to, and work in austere remote locations. Deployments average 60-90 days per year.
Must be willing to work extended shifts, including holidays and weekends.
Must possess and maintain a valid U.S. passport, accept customer furnished quarters, and comply with customer mobility and security requirements.
Selected applicant must meet minimum medical requirements, which includes a company overseas physical and a current FAA second class physical.
The applicant selected will be subjected to Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements.
This position will require an active Top Secret security clearance with an SBI conducted within the last 6 years.
The candidate must agree to and successfully pass a polygraph examination.
Test Pilot School not required.

Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of 1000 flight hours in RPA, turbojet, or turboprop aircraft
• Current FAA class 1 or 2 physical
• Instructor experience
• Military operational experience
• Active Top Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
• Experience leading aviators in conducting world wide operations, day/night, instrument conditions operational experience
• Experienced Leader capable of leading team in austere environment.
• Experience with employment/deployment of complex weapon systems, payloads and/or sensor packages
• Instrument rated (commercial)
• Skilled briefer, power point presenter, conversant with FAA FARs
• Pilot Instructor
