As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Tech in Fremont, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a leading technology location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas, following established protocols.
• Document and report any unusual observations, incidents, or security-related concerns according to company and client procedures.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required, supporting incident resolution and/or investigations.
• Remain alert to potential threats or hazards specific to a technology-focused environment, adapting responses as appropriate.
• Participate in ongoing training and maintain required certifications for armed security-related duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Have at least 1 year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License as required by state and/or local regulations.
• Possess a valid California Weapons Permit with 9mm caliber endorsement.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
