Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst Senior to support our work as a prime contractor on a high-profile U.S. Navy weapon system. Accuracy, integrity, subject matter expertise, and the ability to work well independently and with others are important traits we expect the successful candidate to possess and demonstrate.
The position will be based out of Kings Bay, GA with the expectation that they will travel to Groton, CT for COLUMBIA Installation and Checkout (I&C) events when needed.
The person selected for this job requisition will have 10-25% travel required.
This position is responsible for providing direct support to SP206 (SSP Logistics Branch) for the COLUMBIA I&C. This includes the development of support documents, supportability analyses, Life Cycle Management, and participation in BAE Systems Engineering and Logistics team activities associated with the COLUMBIA program. Position includes providing technical support to SP206 for OHIO/COLUMBIA class matters regarding s ustainment initiatives , some meeting management, and building presentations for senior representatives.
Additionally, candidate will be required to manage and/or support other department operations as needed. Analyze current processes and procedures for deficiencies to determine potential corrective action and demonstrate ability to develop self-assessments to validate department operations effectiveness. Must also work with and support corporate Safety, Health, Environment (SHE) personnel to maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with safety objectives and policies.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $77814 - $132283
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

- Providing executive level briefs to the customer during Shipyard Execution Planning Meetings (SEPM).
- Planning and executing weekly I&C meeting with multiple government entities.
- Provide guidance for SWS Ashore procedures/policies.
- Provide input to all I&C related SSPINST and Ordnance Documents in support of Colombia I& C Program.
- Provide customer with frequent updates to tasks as required.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Education and years of related/relevant work experience required:
- High School Diploma and at least 8 years of related/relevant work experience or an Associate's Degree and at least 6 years of related/relevant work experience or a Bachelor's Degree and at least 4 years of related/relevant work experience or a Master's Degree and at least 2 years of related/relevant work experience in supporting Navy Logistics (Submarines).
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Technical knowledge and proficiency
- Strong knowledge of the following areas: COSAL, Submarine Supply Knowledge, Working Knowledge of RSupply and OMMS, COSAL Maintenance Knowledge, Operational Logistics, Logistics Support, and Logistics Data Analysis.
- Customer Service Support/Customer Oriented.
- Experience with providing training and conducting audits on various Navy Supply related topics.
- Proficiency in applications word processing, spreadsheet, and database development programs (such as Word, Excel, ERPs, and Access) to prepare appropriate reports and documents.
- Analytical and technical problem solving.
- Must be a self-starter with an ability to research Logistics requirements and provide recommendations with forethought and sound reasoning.
- Analytical and technical problem solving for effective decision making and for making recommendations in an established reporting chain.
- Familiar with Project management Principles.

- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal - Effective and proper communication is required for interfacing with a range of seniority of people including company employees, government, military, and prime contractor personnel to effectively coordinate the performance and responses.
