MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Project Manager (Combat Systems) to join our team in Norfolk, VA. This position is on-site.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- You will manage project planning, scheduling, and execution of combat systems installation and sustainment efforts
- Coordinate with Navy stakeholders, shipyards, and technical teams to ensure timely delivery and integration of systems
- Oversee performance of subcontractors and vendors to ensure quality and adherence to project requirements
- Track budgets, monitor risk, and report on project status to internal and external stakeholders
- Facilitate technical meetings, program reviews, and progress briefings
- Ensure compliance with Navy regulations, safety policies, and security protocols
- Provide leadership and mentorship to support staff and junior engineers
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience briefing senior military and civilian personnel onboard ship and within government facilities
- 10+ years of experience drafting standard naval messages, briefs, reports, databases and spreadsheets on aircraft carrier Antenna assessment issues
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with NAVSEA, NSWC, or regional maintenance centers
- Prior Navy or DoD acquisition experience
Clearance Requirements:
- An active Secret clearance is required to perform the duties of this position
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- Needs to occasionally move about shipyards or naval vessels, including climbing and walking extended distances
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve briefings or technical discussions.
- Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
