Pay Range

$103,500 - $131,256 annually for TSS.1

$124,200$157,464 annually for TSS.2

Job Description

We're looking for an Application Onboarding Specialist/Project Manager to supportthe Enterprise Secure Network (ESN) Hub team within the Chief Information Office, part of the Director's Office in the EAS Division in the Computing Directorate.

In this role, you will leverage your experience in business process improvement, application deployment, and project management to guide mission enterprise application owners through the onboarding process. You will collaborate across the program's Integrated Program Teams (IPTs) and ensure the efficient deployment of secure enterprise services and applications.

This position offers a hybrid schedule, blending in-person and virtual presence. You will have the flexibility to work from home one or more days per week.

This position will be filled at either level based on knowledge and related experience as assessed by the hiring team. Additional job responsibilities (outlined below) will be assigned if hired at the higher level.

You will
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across NNSA HQ, other DOE sites, and the Department of Defense (DoD) to ensure requirements are effectively gathered and conveyed to the technical services teams and ESN program leadership.
  • Identify potential challenges with authentication and authorization and/or integration with existing services; working with the product teams to mitigate or address identified challenges and risks, prior to the provisioning of virtual infrastructure - to deliver a coordinated and professional onboarding experience.
  • Maintain regular and clear communication on the status of the application onboarding backlog with NNSA HQ stakeholders, other relevant government or contracted entities (as applicable), ESN program technical teams, and ESN program leadership.
  • Provide operational support for the deployment and troubleshooting of IT infrastructure and applications, to include proper implementation of security baselines that have been approved by the Enterprise ISSM team.
  • Leverage technical expertise and strong customer service skills to ensure seamless integration and deployment of enterprise services and applications, utilizing both ESN Hub and ESN classic connection paradigms.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional job responsibilities, at the TSS.2 level

  • Collaborate with senior level stakeholders across NNSA HQ, other DOE sites, and the Department of Defense (DoD) to ensure requirements are effectively gathered and conveyed to the technical services teams and ESN program leadership.


Qualifications

  • Ability to secure and maintain a U.S. DOE Q-level security clearance which requires U.S. citizenship.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Ability to compile data from disparate sources into presentable reports and presentations for management.
  • Technical knowledge of systems such as Cisco and Polycom equipment, as well as VTC operations.
  • Experience with the ESN hub onboarding process.
  • Experience with Atlassian applications like Confluence and Jira.
  • Interpersonal skills and sufficient verbal and written skills to engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders and foster collaboration across teams.
  • Ability to manage schedules, coordinate resources, and maintain operational efficiency.

Additional qualifications at the TSS.2 level
  • Experience delivering reports and presentations to senior and executive management.
  • Strong technical knowledge multiple communication technologies including but not limited to Cisco and Polycom in multiple operational environments.
  • Proficientverbal and written communication skills necessary to effectively collaborate in a team environment and present and explain technical or operational information.

Qualifications We Desire
  • Experience in government or regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks and MS Office tools, including Excel and Word.

Security Clearance

This position requires a Department of Energy (DOE) Q-level clearance. If you are selected, we will initiate a Federal background investigation to determine if you meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information or matter. Also, all L or Q cleared employees are subject to random drug testing. Q-level clearance requires U.S. citizenship.

Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities require separate approval. Hearing aids without wireless capabilities or wireless that has been disabled are allowed in Limited Areas, Secure Space and Transit/Buffer Space within buildings.
