GDIT is currently seeking a Property Administrator to help support the ICAM program. This position is 100% remote with occasional travel requirements to facilitate authorized actions for physical hardware issued to the program.

As a Property Administrator, you will support the planning, execution, and management of various projects internal and external to the program, as assigned. The Property Administrator Associate will involve analyzing and evaluating performance success, tracking progress against objectives, and identifying opportunities for improvement in assigned area of responsibility. Additionally, the role includes managing both physical and virtual hardware assets as assigned, ensuring that equipment is properly inventoried, maintained, and allocated to meet operational needs. Primary duties include but not limited to managing and facilitating physical hardware issuance, return, transfer, updates, refresh, repair, replacement, damage reports, annual audits, and warranty tracking and other program-related tasks or duties as assigned.

HOW A PROPERTY ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Asset Management:
  • Oversee and manage hardware assets across the organization (i.e. Government-issued laptops, peripheral equipment, virtual hardware).
  • Maintain accurate inventories of hardware assets using asset management software or systems.
  • Ensure proper tracking, labeling, and shipping of assigned assets from acquisition, to delivery, through return or disposal.
  • Coordinate hardware asset lifecycle management, including ordering, deployment, maintenance, and retirement of equipment.
  • Work with internal teams to allocate and assign hardware based on program and operational needs.
  • Ensure hardware compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and physical counts of hardware to ensure inventory accuracy.

Analysis & Support:
  • Assist in the development, implementation, improvement, and evaluation of program objectives and activities.
  • Support program performance objectives by analyzing available data to assess progress toward goals and targets.
  • Support the preparation of program reports, presentations, and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements within assigned projects and programs.
  • Provide logistical and administrative support for program management, including scheduling meetings and coordinating resources for/with end-users.

Reporting & Documentation:
  • Maintain 100% accurate records of assigned program-related activities and assigned hardware asset transactions.
  • Support the development and submission of program audit reports to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and update program documentation as assigned, including standard operating procedures, user manuals, and inventory logs.

Continuous Improvement:
  • Actively contribute to program improvement initiatives by suggesting process optimizations.
  • Support the development and execution of training programs for staff on program management tools and hardware usage.


WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED - REQUIRED:
  • Clearance: Active SECRET clearance or above
  • Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science desirable but not required
  • Year's Experience: 3+ years of related or transferrable experience
  • Technical Skills:
  • ----- Demonstrated strong analytical, investigative, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • ----- Experience with asset management processes and tools or transferrable experience where attention to detail and tracking of key items through rigorous and fluid lifecycle processes were primary responsibilities.
  • ----- Knowledge of Government Cybersecurity objectives and applicable policies (i.e. cybersecurity training).
  • ----- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Skills & Abilities:
  • ----- Demonstrated attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • ----- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • ----- Ability to lift up to 20lbs on occasion.
  • Location: Remote (must reside within CONUS). Ability to travel 25% CONUS.


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Basic understanding of IT systems and infrastructure is preferred
  • Exemplary customer service skills to support asset end-users who work under strict deadlines.
  • Transferable experience in other industries acceptable.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
