We are looking for a skilled and experienced Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. As a GCP Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based solutions using Google Cloud services. You will work closely with architects, DevOps engineers, and other developers to build scalable, secure, and high-performance applications that meet business requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, software development, and system integration. You should be proficient in using GCP services such as Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Cloud Pub/Sub. Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, as well as CI/CD pipelines, is highly desirable. In this role, you will analyze business needs, design cloud-native architectures, and implement solutions that leverage the full capabilities of the Google Cloud Platform. You will also be responsible for optimizing performance, ensuring security compliance, and maintaining high availability of cloud applications. You will participate in code reviews, write technical documentation, and provide support for deployed applications. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a collaborative environment are essential for success in this position. Responsibilities

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of experience in cloud development, preferably with GCP
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go
• Experience with GCP services like Compute Engine, App Engine, and BigQuery
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Cloud Build
• Understanding of cloud security principles and best practices
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• GCP certification REQUIRED
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary Range: $100,000 - $180,000 (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
