Strategic Ventures is currently recruiting a Digital Interoperability / Information Management / Knowledge Management Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team at Quantico, VA supporting the USMC. This position is fully on-site at Quantico.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary technical expert in USMC Digital Interoperability analysis and planning
- Act as a trusted Digital Interoperability (DI) Subject Matter Expert, providing in-depth expertise on the conduct, operations, governance, and business practices related to USMC digital interoperability in support of DC, CD&I
- Analyze and solve exceptionally complex problems using deep subject matter expertise and technical acumen
- Deliver technical solutions that address broad challenges across multiple disciplines
- Prepare and present detailed technical and budgetary briefings to senior leadership
- Develop and author technical documentation aligned with DoD standards to facilitate communication and collaboration across the Navy, USMC, support contractors, industry, and academia
- Apply structured technical processes to solve multifaceted aviation-related challenges
- Operate independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced and evolving environment
- Contribute to the governance, business practices, and operational planning of USMC aviation
Serve as IM/KM SME and Coordinator for all AVRB activity
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- 10+ years of experience supporting the USMC, with a strong focus on aviation
- In-depth knowledge of USMC aviation governance, operations, and business practices
- Proven expertise in technical principles, theories, and cross-disciplinary concepts
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions for complex issues
- Experience with authoring technical documentation for DoD or similar organizations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage priorities with minimal oversight
