Job Description:
Parsons is looking for a sharp Systems Engineer to join our growing team!
The CSAR program supports on-orbit operations as well as launch and early orbit operations. Mission Solutions directorate of Parsons Space has an opening for a Systems Engineer to support our growing engineering business to join the Consolidated program in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Candidates should have a knowledge of ground systems, command and control, and operations. Candidate should be able to focus on individual tasks or projects with minimal supervision, generating all relevant work products, while providing status and raising concerns to technical leaders. This position requires a motivated individual who seeks to work in a team environment where creative solutions are encouraged and technical challenges are the norm.

This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.

Salary Range: $72,900.00 - $127,600.00

Required Clearance:
- Candidate must possess an active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in STEM field OR relevant field AND 4+ years of relevant experience
What Desired Skills You Might Bring:
- Proficient on the CCS-C system
- Proficient in Jira
- Knowledge of the CPASC architecture
- Identify, assess, and develop risk mitigation strategies throughout the system lifecycle.
- Provide system troubleshooting at production facilities in Colorado Springs, Peterson AFB, and Schriever AFB
- Participate and support technical working groups such as the system engineering integrated product team (SEIPT), archive and trending working group (ATWG), database working group (DBWG), scheduling and planning working group (SAPWG), and configuration control board (CCB).
- Ensure prioritization of issues are communicated to all teams and worked through iterations.
- Update system documentation required as part of the sustainment process to include artifacts such as systems specifications and interface design descriptions.
Security Clearance Requirement:
An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.
