Job Location: Washington, D.C. - Onsite

Job Description:
The Customer Facing Python Engineer partners with our customers to
deliver on strategic enhancements for our valued clients. The ideal
candidate will be able to harness their expertise in prompt engineering,
robust AI frameworks, and secure coding practices to deliver innovative
solutions for our customers. This role is embedded with the customer to
synchronize on design, prototyping, and full-scale deployment, and will
require the candidate to work on site at the customer location.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Conduct research and work closely with key decision-makers to
understand customer business processes to identify areas where we can add value and provide in-depth training to end users.
- Assist customers with all Generative AI issues, offering hands-on
support from concept through deployment to deliver practical
solutions that address complex customer challenges.
- Architect, develop, and maintain Generative AI Agents and plugins
using Python and related frameworks.
- Embed with customers to provide technical leadership and solutions,
driving success from initial concept to production deployment.
- Build innovative Generative AI features to help customers
automate tasks and processes, developing innovative full-stack
solutions.
- Develop strong relationships with our customers and their leadership
to maximize the value and efficiency of their applications.
- Implement best practices for code quality, security (to include
strong knowledge of common vulnerabilities), and performance
optimization.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code with a focus on
security and data privacy.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Python
development, Generative AI, and relevant technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Generative AI
solutions into existing systems that meet and exceed customer
expectations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant software engineering experience,
including but not limited to Python (customer-facing experience
strongly preferred).
- At least 1 year of practical experience leveraging Generative AI to
build automation and agents; while no specific degree is required, a
deep understanding of the required technical areas is essential.
- Strong prompt engineering skills and experience with Generative AI
frameworks, along with expertise in delivering secure solutions on
leading cloud infrastructures.
- Ability to Identify innovative ways to enhance customer impact by
using resources, as well as to communicate complex concepts clearly
to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills to own project execution from start
to finish and adapt to meet customer needs.
- Must work from the customer location on a daily basis, with a
willingness to travel as needed to meet customer objectives (50%).
- Department of Defense Secret or Top Secret clearance required
