Job Description
The F-35 Aircraft Structural Integrity Program (ASIP) provides quarterly structural life reporting for the worldwide fleet of 1000+ aircraft. The Aircraft Health Management (AHM) Structures Integration Fellow (ASIF) is responsible for integrating efforts across BAES US, UK and our Lockheed Martin customer to deliver the next generation ASIP capability. In addition, the ASIF will lead the process of up-skilling and expanding BAE Systems' ASIP technical delivery teams, developing a roadmap for ASIPs continued growth and supporting broader business growth based on AHM/ASIP capabilities.
The role is the first in line to field and resolve emergent and complex issues introducing the next generation ASIP capability while continuing to meet our existing ASIP delivery commitments. Due to the geographically dispersed nature of the program the role holder will need to understand the technical fields involved and be accomplished in balancing timely independent action with the need to engage and execute alongside multiple stakeholders.

Full-Time Salary Range: $133333 - $226667
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's degree or 8+ years' work experience in AHM or allied fields.
- Experience on the F-35 Aircraft Structural Integrity Program (ASIP).
- Experience of leading international teams with both direct and indirect spans of control.
- Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM) or similar time/cost/quality delivery responsibility.
- Experience leading resolution of emergent aircraft production/development technical issues.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Master's degree or 15+ years' work experience in AHM or allied fields.
- Leadership experience on the F-35 Aircraft Structural Integrity Program (ASIP).
- Familiarity with F-35 team-mate, workshare and System Design Responsibility (SDR) constructs.
- Understanding of ITAR and export control requirements.
- Understanding of US-UK defense programs including security, export and commercial constructs.
- Experience working with BAE Systems UK, Lockheed Martin and F-35 JPO is highly desirable.
- Experience leading or working with distributed teams including across international boundaries.
- Engineering professional accreditation or plan to work towards this is desirable.
