General Function:
- Provide product support to the Program Manager (PM) and Product Support Manager (PSM) in executing
Total Life Cycle Systems Management. - Assist in planning, organizing, and managing logistics for system development, production, and deployment
using DoD and USAF logistics policies. - Review and recommend revisions to Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSPs), CDRLs, PMPs, SOWs, and
capability documents (ICD/CDD/CPD). - Support program reviews, conferences, and provide status/decision updates on assigned programs.
- Assist in developing integrated logistics and support requirements aligned with system design and readiness
objectives. - Conduct life cycle cost, logistics supportability, and warranty analyses.
- Support full life cycle logistics tasks from concept through disposal, including problem analysis and solution
recommendations. - Conduct logistic and cost studies including manpower, spares, readiness assessments, and comparative trade off analysis.
- Assist in Life Cycle Logistics Management (LCLM) by writing reports and recommending logistics-related
actions. - Support development of Product Support Strategies, including performance-based logistics (PBL) and public private partnerships.
- Recommend program strategies incorporating logistics impacts and monitor depot/contractor performance.
- Evaluate logistics support elements and assess Mission Partner field support requirements.
- Perform Supportability Analysis (SA), including support alternatives, trade-offs, and logistics database
evaluation. - Identify support equipment and training device requirements; assess SA plans and recommend improvements.
- Evaluate and consolidate logistics and engineering data to determine detailed support needs.
- Monitor SA progress and ensure supportability efforts align with program goals.
- Evaluate deliverable data products under Logistics Management Information (LMI) tasks.
Position Description
QSF 6.2-1-11, Rev 2, 8/14/2024 Company Confidential and Proprietary 2 - Support Life Cycle Cost Management (LCCM) and Design-to-Cost (DTC) by analyzing trade studies and cost
estimates. - Conduct cost/benefit analyses, business case evaluations, supportability studies, and repair level assessments.
- Use Instructional Systems Development (ISD) methodology to create and deliver logistics and sustainment
training courses.
Qualifications:
Education/Certifications/Experience/Skills:
- MA/BA Degree and at least 3 years of DoD experience related to the position requirement, OR, 7 years of directly related experience, 5 of which must be with the DoD.
- Must possess and maintain a government security clearance at the Secret level.
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft programs (including Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Must be able to transport self to various facility sites, as required. If using own motor vehicle, must possess a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
- Must have the ability to solve problem problems and troubleshoot various situations to develop successful outcomes within established program / project guidelines.
- Must have the knowledge, experience and demonstrated ability to perform tasks related to the technical/professional discipline they are performing.
