Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking a Project Manager to join our team in Lexington Park, Maryland. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the administrative and operational aspects of project(s). Will serve as a liaison between project management, technicians, engineering, contractors, suppliers, and US Government agencies. Will review status of projects and budgets, manage schedules, and provide input for the preparation of project cost estimates, statements of work, and other pertinent project documentation. Will support the Government Program Lead for the U.S. Air Force Remote Radio Secure Voice Systems and new system initiatives. Must be a multi-tasker and a detail-oriented self-starter with communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in the St. Mary's County Technology Corridor adjacent to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station.
There is no monetary relocation assistance budgeted for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to St. Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's degree and at least 6 years work experience OR Associate degree and at least 8 years of related experience OR High School diploma and at least 10 years of related experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, Excel) Microsoft Project, Adobe Acrobat Pro
Cybersecurity, Risk Management Framework experience
Knowledge of electronics, cable and wiring assembly and quality assurance
Ability to manage work instructions and test procedures to meet customer requirements
Ability to travel to CONUS locations
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Project Management Professional certification
Cost Point, COGNOS experience
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $99410 - $168997
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

- Collaborates with customers/project stakeholders and other contractors.
- Develops/assists with development of project cost estimates.
- Coordinates with function managers for resources.
- Executes processes and procedures to meet management and project requirements.
- Develops briefs and/or reports on the status of assigned projects.
- Initiates corrective action resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and project goals and objectives.
- Monitors work and expenditures to ensure schedule and budgets are maintained.
- Travels for onsite installations, testing, and fielding/system deliveries.
