Job Responsibilities

Trace Systems is seeking a Headquarters IT Support Lead to join our team in Camp Humphries, South Korea. The Headquarters IT Support Lead will manage and oversee the daily operations of the helpdesk, client and IMO support for USFK J6. The project associated with this position is currently in the proposal stage.

The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide IT support services for CFC/USFK/UNC assigned personnel utilizing US Networks and Mission Partner Environments.
• Provide IMO services required to support the assigned CFC/UNC/USFK Staff personnel including military (US, ROK, and UNC), civilian (DoD and KGS) and supporting contractors for day-to-day operations.
• Manage user accounts and devices and troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for CFC/UNC/USFK IT systems.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain network infrastructure devices supporting CFC/UNC/USFK IT systems and support government owned Mobility devices and DISA Mobility services.
• Proactively maintain system security through patches, updates, and security configurations within 5 working days of release.
• Provide user training on hardware and software as new capabilities are introduced onto CFC/UNC/USFK IT Systems.
• Operate a centralized help desk during standard USFK business hours, managing all IT-related outages, degradations, and service requests. Log and track all incidents using a trouble ticketing system.
• Analyze incident reports, identify root causes, and provide mitigation recommendations. Prepare and disseminate IT reports and briefings on incidents, events, and anomalies.
• Facilitate meetings and communication between stakeholders to address IT issues and changes. Respond to inquiries and requests from service providers regarding utilization, compliance and security.
• Provide surge support for 24/7 operations during CFC/UNC/USFK exercises, crisis situations and wartime.
• Provide a 24 hour, 7 days a week, 365 days a year on-call support capability with IMOs able to physically respond to high priority tickets within 1 hour.
• Provide IT System lifecycle replacement and supply system support for CFC/UNC/USFK IT systems.
• Perform supply actions to include serial number tracking of received lifecycle equipment, issuing hand receipts, lateral transfer documents, demilitarization, and disposal in coordination with the Defense Reutilization Marking Office.
• Maintain Conference Room Video teleconference and Audiovisual systems. Provide direct support (including planning, logistics, setup, testing, monitroing, and operations) to the Secretary Joint Staff (SJS) to ensure VTC and audiovisual conference, meeting, and briefing room equipment seamlessly support meetings, conferences, briefs and hosted events.

Minimum Qualifications

• Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance with eligibility.
• Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.
• DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 3.
• Able to coordinate desktop IT support for US Networks and Mission Partner Environments in support of senior staff members and across geographically dispersed locations with multiple service providers.

Desired Qualification

• Prior experience providing IT support in Military facilities.

Education

• HS Diploma or GED.
