Position Summary
Odyssey Systems is seeking a highly experienced Acquisition Strategy and Documentation SME to provide senior-level acquisition strategy, documentation development, and program management support to Department of Defense (DoD) programs. This role involves strategic planning, documentation development for ACAT I programs, and stakeholder coordination across the acquisition lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of DoD acquisition policies, advanced analytical skills, and extensive experience supporting senior-level decision-making in a high-visibility program environment.
This role is located at Hanscom AFB, MA.
Responsibilities
In this Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) role, you will provide expert-level support to Department of Defense (DoD) programs by assisting government leadership with decision-making, planning, and execution throughout the acquisition lifecycle. You will apply your technical and/or professional expertise to ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations, contribute to mission success, and help deliver critical capabilities to the warfighter.

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Minimum Required Qualifications
Clearance: Must have an Active Top Secret SCI Clearance
Education: Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS)
Years of Experience: 20 years of relevant experience, including 10 years in the DoD
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Advanced Degree (MA/MS)
Years of experience: 15 years of relevant experience, including 10 years in the DoD

Duties include, but not limited to:
- Provide strategic and tactical program planning in support of system mission capabilities.
- Apply qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to evaluate acquisition program performance.
- Track program schedule and cost baselines, recommend solutions, and evaluate alternatives.
- Develop acquisition strategies and supporting documentation for ACAT I programs.
- Draft, review, and support development of RFPs and other key acquisition documentation.
- Plan, schedule, and facilitate meetings with stakeholders, industry, and program teams.
- Support Acquisition Strategy Reviews, PMRs, DAES, MAR, and IMP/IMS reviews.
- Develop and present high-level briefings, schedules, and reports to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with multi-MAJCOM stakeholders to assess needs and provide advisory input.
- Communicate effectively through written documentation and oral briefings.
Qualifications

- Expert knowledge of DoDI 5000.2, acquisition lifecycle, and DoD program management
- Experience with RFP development and Acquisition Strategy documentation
- Familiarity with DAES, MAR, IMP/IMS, and program reporting requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Interpersonal Skills
- Proven leadership and strategic planning capabilities
- Effective team building and stakeholder coordination across diverse teams
- Ability to work independently under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong oral and written communication skills
