We are seeking a skilled Emergency Planner to support the trilateral defense alliance. This opportunity is ideal for a self-starting, detail-oriented, and technically proficient individual to be a key member of a small team supporting development of new nuclear submarine operations, training, and maintenance (including depot-level) capabilities. The successful candidate will deliver technical assessments and analysis to provide recommended innovative approaches to operate, train and maintain/repair nuclear submarines. The successful candidate will collaborate and coordinate with the Immediate Superior in Command Navy Counselor (ISIC) and Navy TYCOM staff, and fleet personnel, as well as prepare and deliver reports and briefings to TYCOM and OPNAV leadership. The successful candidate will track and monitor project schedules and provide recommendations to leadership on schedule decision making to ensure key milestones are achieved.

The anticipated work location is in Hawaii.

Travel to Australia and Washington less than 10%

Required Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience
Experience as a Chief Petty Officer or above
Executive presence with highly effective communication and interpersonal skills
Secret clearance
Desired Experience:

Served submarine commanding officer
Experience in a shipyard or with pre-construction of a submarine.
Staff service at the Group or TYCOM level
