WHAT WE'RE DOING
Lockheed Martin is looking for a Logistics Engineer with experience in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) especially in the field of aviation and training systems.

The selected candidate will be a motivated team player who demonstrates the ability to actively participate in small teams and take appropriate actions to solve logistics problems with little supervision. This position is a part of the F-16 and F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Training System team and is focused on ILS, provisioning, and failure analysis and tracking. The F-35 Training System is composed of flight simulators, maintenance training equipment and network infrastructure equipment.
THE WORK
Typical tasks will include: Maintaining a replenishment parts model to include historical parts consumption, parts obsolescence, lead-times, minimum buy requirements, and predicted future repair part, spares, and support equipment spares requirements. The Sr. Logistics Engineer will establish schedules and monitor the delivery of spares in order to comply with contractual obligations. Through weekly monitoring, the individual will ensure the availability of spares and repair parts.

WHO YOU ARE
The best candidate will have experience using analytical tools such as Tableau, Opus, Slicwave, and Excel to model outcomes and predict the best course of action and plan the support solution in the design phase. The preferred candidate will be an independent, proactive performer with demonstrated ability to deliver results on time that are well supported by data.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
- 2 or more years of systems/logistics engineering experience
- Experience in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)
- Must have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
- Strong analytical skills, ability to analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends and failure rates.
- Strong teamwork skills, willingness to work as part of a dynamic team environment.
- Experience with F-16 and/or F-35 Sustainment Parts Information Record (SPIR) and Electronic Equipment Logbook (EEL)
- Experience performing a wide range of ILS tasks leading to improved availability of systems and equipment
- Experience performing sparing and availability analysis
- Experience in aviation and training programs
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
