The Hypersonics Advanced Programs team is looking for an Engineering Aide, on the Razor Systems Engineering team for a Research and Development project. In this role, your responsibilities may include:
• Moderate peer reviews of engineering documents, drawings, and specifications
• Facilitate technical and non-technical related discussions for engineers, program managers, and stakeholders across multiple teams and locations
• Schedule meetings, maintain agendas, capture notes, and provide meeting minutes for the System Engineering team and program level meetings
• Update databases such as DOORS and Collaborator as determined by responsible engineers
• Produce engineering documentation, reports, PowerPoint slides (flow charts, block diagrams, schematics, plans, schedules)
• Review engineering documentation, reports, specifications, and drawings to ensure compliance with governing documentation and requirements
• Compile release packages ensuring all documentation is present
• Coordinate change requests and action items with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and other stakeholders
• Support coordination and logistics of formal design review meetings
• Track action items
• Transfer sensitive data between networks
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines across a small, (hypersonic) fast-paced, dynamic program; adapting to the rapidly changing environment of a development program on a challenging schedule
• Use your excellent communication skills and self-motivating drive to work across Lockheed Martin business areas to progress towards a common goal
• Promote a positive teamwork culture within a small, diverse team spread across multiple sites
Typically has an associate's degree and 1 year of professional experience,
OR
3-5 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:
• Associate degree in a STEM field, related work experience and/or technical training. Completed coursework towards a related degree may be considered.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance; therefore, U.S. Citizenship is required
Desired Skills:
• Associate's degree or credits towards a Bachelor's degree in a STEM related field
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; must be able to present clearly and concisely to leaders and stakeholders
• Highly organized; must be able to track items to completion and report status regularly
• Experience facilitating or moderating technical discussions
• Experience in the defense or space industry
• Experience writing technical documentation
• Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• Active Secret clearance

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
