Summit Human Capital is seeking a highly-motivated Secret or Top Secret Cleared Network Administrator to support the Air Force at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling.
Basic Qualifications:
• 9+ years network analysis/resolution (hardware, circuit, transmission).
• Active DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance.
• Active CompTIA Security+ or CCNP Security.
• Active CCNA Certification.
• 8+ years senior LAN switching experience (VLANs, VTP, Port Security, Spanning Tree, L2/L3 configs).
• 8+ years senior Layer 3 routing experience (EIGRP, OSPF, IS-IS).
• 8+ years senior L1/L2 network troubleshooting (Unclassified/Classified).
• Experience with encryption device programming/maintenance/troubleshooting (GEM-X or DoD tools).
• Experience with DoD COMSEC management.
• Experience with DoD network/application security hardening.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Cisco ISE and Cisco DNA.
• Experience working at Pentagon, JBA, and/or JBAB.
• Knowledge of Air Force, Pentagon, and/or AFNCR.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor network systems for issues/alarms.
• Identify and resolve issues; escalate as needed.
• Troubleshoot using scripts/procedures; escalate as needed.
• Initiate resolution for enterprise routers/switches.
• Interface with vendors for outages/performance issues.
• Process Authorized Service Interruptions (ASIs).
• Maintain network equipment security posture (updates, STIGs, IOS upgrades).
• Support special projects and daily operations.
• Support on-call rotation.
