As a Network Engineer with MTSI, you will join a small, energetic team to build and maintain a high-fidelity cloud environment. The purpose of this environment is to streamline the acquisition process between the stages of Analysis, Prototyping, Enterprise Testing, and Program of Record Transition.

As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:
- Designing, implementing, and managing networking technologies in the AWS cloud.
- Developing Networking solutions with an emphasis on SDN and SD-WAN technologies.
- Support the software engineering team with gathering and analyzing network metrics.
- Troubleshooting and resolve network issues.
- Automate infrastructure using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and CDK.
- Ensuring security and compliance.
- Collaborating with a National Team of Subject Matter Experts.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five (5) years' relevant experience as a Network Engineer or Architect.
- Strong understanding of SDN and SD-WAN technologies.
- Strong ability to design, implement, and manage complex network infrastructures.
- Experience with troubleshooting and resolving network issues.
- Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently with small, distributed teams.
Desired Qualifications :
- Cisco, Juniper or VMWare SD-WAN cloud experience.
- Python development and Scripting.
- Experience developing and integrating networks for the DoD.
Education Requirements :
- Bachelor of Science in Network Engineering, Information Technologies or related field.
- Network Certifications and experience will be considered in lieu of education.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must be eligible for Secret security clearance, Active Secret security clearance, Desired.
- Must be eligible for Top Secret (TS) / Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance.
- Active Top Secret (TS) / Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), Highly Desired.
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
