Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a Senior Product Support Integrator in Dayton, OH.
MTSI is seeking a Senior Product Support Integrator to support the Air Force Rapid Sustainment Office's (RSO) Advanced Manufacturing Program Office (AMPO). The RSO deploys new technologies across the sustainment enterprise to improve readiness and reduce sustainment costs. The sustainment enterprise includes both field and depot level maintenance as well as enterprise supply chain and program office sustainment activities. Inherent in the accomplishment of the RSO mission is rapid delivery of critical sustainment technologies. The AMPO is responsible for implementation of advanced manufacturing technologies across the Department of the Air Force while collaborating across industry, academia, and government.
The Senior Product Support Integrator is an expert in identifying and addressing gaps in existing product support capabilities; collaborating with stakeholders across the Air Force, other DoD organizations, and industry; and developing and delivering training and guidance on product support best practices.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Product Support Integrator with MTSI, you will provide support to the Air Force's Rapid Sustainment Office. This position will be in Beavercreek, Ohio.
Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
• Strategy Development
o Developing AM/AR product support vision and providing input on acquisition strategies that will ensure life cycle sustainment is a consideration in technology development and product fielding
o Converting identified fleet sustainment challenges to AM/AR opportunities by generating acquisition requirements and feeding program objective memorandum (POM) inputs
o Conducting market research and competitive analyses to identify emerging AM/AR technologies and their potential applications within the Air Force
• Integration and Collaboration
o Collaborating with program offices to identify product support challenges (e.g., maintenance and supply drivers) where additive manufacturing (AM) and additive repair (AR) technologies may offer viable solutions
o Assessing AM/AR technologies for 12 Integrated Product Support (IPS) Elements applicability and developing product support management plans
o Ensuring end-user facilities and infrastructure challenges are identified and resolved prior to technology fielding; leading site activation task force (SATAF) activities, as required
o Staying abreast of Air Force maintenance career field restructuring activities and working with the Fabrication functional manager to ensure alignment of Air Force sustainment needs with RSO activities
• Process Improvement
o Developing and implementing streamlined AM/AR processes that enhance clarity, efficiency, and effectiveness
o Developing and delivering training materials and resources to educate stakeholders on AM/AR product support best practices
• Policy and Guidance
o Contributing to the development of policies, procedures, and guidance documents related to AM/AR product support
o Staying abreast of relevant regulations, standards, and best practices
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in product support, logistics, maintenance, or related field
• Demonstrated experience with DoD acquisition and sustainment processes
• Proven understanding of AM/AR technologies and their potential USAF application
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Strong, analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Desired Qualifications:
• Familiarity with relevant DoD and industry standards pertaining to advanced manufacturing
• Experience working in an Air Force Life Cycle Management Center program office
Education Requirements:
• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred
Certifications Requirements:
• N/A
Clearance Requirements:
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
• U.S. Citizenship is required for this position
